Energy & Oilfield Services — Syria

Building on a Legacy of Safety, Quality & Reliability

NASCO Services builds upon decades of experience, trusted relationships and operational expertise within Syria’s energy sector — delivering top quality services to international and regional partners.

About NASCO

Decades of operating knowledge, carried forward.

NASCO’s history is not a sequence of dates. It is a record of work delivered in the field, for demanding international clients, under conditions that leave no room for improvisation.

Founded to serve international operators

The original NASCO business was established in 1988 to serve the international petroleum explorers and subcontractors working in Syria — providing administrative services, oilfield services, catering, manpower supply, construction of drilling sites and access roads, rig moves and miscellaneous supplies.

From field services to representation

Within a few years the scope of work expanded significantly to include the representation of international companies with a wide range of specialisations across the energy sector.

A substantial market position

By 2010, NASCO held a substantial share of the Syrian energy-services market and represented several major international companies across the Oil, Power and Mineral Resources sectors.

Activity reduced

With the onset of the Syrian conflict and the resulting suspension of international petroleum and power activity, operations were significantly reduced and other activities minimised.

A return to full operations

NASCO Services has returned to full operations, building upon the reputation, relationships and operational knowledge accumulated over decades — and on the same commitment to quality that defined the original business.
